Rehabilitation Services - Speech Therapy

Outpatient speech therapy services are available by appointment at the CCMH Rehab Center.

Serve patients across the lifespan including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with neurological conditions, and developmental delays. 

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) provide evaluation and treatment for people with neurologic conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis; vocal cord growths and developmental delays.  When a patient sees a speech-language pathologist for the first time, they will receive a comprehensive evaluation, upon which, a plan of care will be developed based on problem areas identified.  Treatment focuses on maximizing communication, cognitive functioning, and swallowing. A physician's order is required for speech therapy.  Speech therapy services are provided by ASHA certified and PA licensed speech therapists (SLP).
