Serve patients across the lifespan including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with orthopedic, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions, connective tissue disorders and sports injuries.

Physical Therapists provide evaluation and treatment for people with orthopedic conditions such as arthritis, joint replacement, low back pain, and osteoporosis; joint and soft tissue injuries such as fractures and dislocations; neurologic conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis; connective tissue injuries, sports injuries, cardiopulmonary and circulatory conditions such as congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and workplace injuries including repetitive  stress disorders.  When a patient sees a physical therapist for the first time, they will receive a comprehensive evaluation, upon which, a plan of care will be developed based on problem areas identified.  Treatment focuses on maximizing mobility, reduction of pain, restoring function and preventing disability.  A physician's order is required for physical therapy.  Physical therapy services are provided by APTA certified and PA licensed physical therapists (PT) and physical therapy assistants (PTA), who work under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Outpatient physical therapy services are available at the CCMH Rehab Center, Port Allegany, Smethport, Emporium and Shinglehouse.
