 ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Hours of Operation: 24 hours
We are a 6-bed unit that provides intensive care to our critically ill patients (pediatric to geriatric). We treat patients with acute respiratory illness who require mechanical ventilation. We also provide stabilization of our cardiac patients through medication and provide discharge planning (either through transportation to another facility or home).
Our ICU nurses are ALS and PALS certified and take extensive cardiac monitoring classes. Our ICU nurses provide mentoring for new employees and provide instruction for one of our local colleges. Our nurses provide patient-centered care.
