your physician is an important part of any health program. The Charles
Cole Memorial Hospital Physician Directory will help you to make
decisions when choosing the right physician for your health care needs.
On
this page, you will find information on physicians who can advise you
on preventive health care, as well as treat you when you are ill or
injured. These physicians are ready to assist you with any health care
need. You will notice that these physicians have completed their
medical school, residency and/or fellowship training at a variety of
respected institutions. A residency training program begins after
medical school and can last from two to seven years, depending on the
specialty. A fellowship involves even more advanced training in a
specific field.
Most
Charles Cole Memorial Hospital physicians are board certified, which
means they have met the high standards of one of the medical specialty
boards. Many other physicians are actively working toward
certification. To become certified, a physician must complete post
graduate training in a specialty and pass an examination administered
by the certifying board.
