15th Annual Charles Cole Golf Classic

You are cordially invited to participate in the 15th Annual Charles Cole Golf Classic, sponsored by the Auxiliary of Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Coudersport Golf Club.

Because of the generous support of the businesses and individuals who support the Hospital through the Charles Cole Golf Classic, the Auxiliary has donated more than $430,000 to the Hospital. These funds have supported the purchase of new equipment and renovation and construction of facilities such as the Women and Family Health Center, the Patterson Cancer Care Center, and the Sleep Disorder Clinic.

The Auxiliary has chosen to focus on the next generation of health care workers as its project this year. Your support of the Charles Cole Auxiliary Golf Classic will help to fund scholarships for students who are studying to become health care professionals. Recruitment of qualified and skilled health care workers in all specialties to our rural area is becoming increasingly challenging. Offering scholarship support for local students who wish to join the local health care workforce is an important step in filling those important jobs.
