Recognizing that women are often charged with making health care choices for themselves and their families, Charles Cole Memorial Hospital developed a women's health program to meet these special needs in 1996. The program is designed to provide an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals to address the individual health concerns of women of all ages, utilizing a wide variety of resources.
The new Marian J. Wettrick Women's Health Center opened in 1999 to provide a warm, friendly, private environment. A resource center features a selection of books, videos and audio cassette on a range of health topics. Internet access is also available at the Center.
The Women's Health Center is located in the Women & Family Health Center, which is located at the west end of the Hospital complex. In addition to the Women's Health Center, the facility includes office space for the Hospital's obstetrician/gynecologists and North Hills Family Practice.
